CLEAN-Air(Africa) Unit was delighted to launch a two week capacity building workshop in February 2025, supported by the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) – using a Cohort Academic Development Award (CADA).
We delivered comprehensive training in qualitative data analysis, management in research, and quantitate data analysis, for our cohort of 17 participants from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, Somalia, Malawi, Uganda & Cameroon – between our group and those joining us from the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
The training was delivered in Nairobi, hosted by the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), with facilitators and support from University of Liverpool, ILRI, and KEMRI. The in-person training took place over a two week period, and was preceeded regular by online training sessions in the period September 2024 to January 2025.
