Dr. Reginald Quansah

Dr. Reginald Quansah received a B.Sc. (HONS) degree in chemistry from the University of Cape coast, an M.Sc. in Industrial Ergonomics from Lulea University of Technology, Sweden, and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Birmingham, UK. He was also a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Environmental and Respiratory Health Research (CERH) at Oulu University, Finland. At CERH, he was involved in Environmental Epidemiology projects and led research in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Reginald Joined the School of Public Health, University of Ghana in 2014. At the school, he coordinated the M.Sc. programme in Occupational Hygiene and the M.Sc. programme in Occupational Medicine at the Department of Biological, Environmental, and Occupational Health Sciences (BEOHS). He was later appointed to coordinate the Master of Public Health programme (sandwich track) at the school. He designed and coordinated a Master of Environment and Public Health and a Master of Public Health programmes (as well as the Bachelor of Public Health programme) for the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology-African Institute of Waste Management and Sanitation. Currently, he is the African Capacity Building lead for CLEAN-Air (Africa) (CAA). He is coordinating CAA’s International online training programme on Household Air Pollution and Health.
